Mr. Shin has been an attorney for over 20 years and is Founder & Principal of Shin Law Group (SLG), providing legal services and expertise ranging from litigation, business work-outs, personal injury, immigration, and media law. Mr. Shin was President of Virginia University of Integrative Medicine (VUIM) for over 5 years during which time VUIM became the first university of acupuncture in the Commonwealth of Virginia to become accredited and Title IV eligible. He also serves as an adjunct Professor in Medical Ethics.

Mr. Shin served as Senior Vice President of Court TV Extra and was Executive Director of The Programming Corporation and EVP at Courtroom View Network. He has been a guest lecturer at Boston University School of Business and was co-producer of legal education products with William & Mary School of Law and Stanford Graduate School of Business. John earned his Juris Doctor with honors at Syracuse University Law School and Bachelor of Science at the University of Maryland.
