Hyeshin Park is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW-C) and has a PhD in social work from University of Maryland, Baltimore. She currently works as a private practitioner at ARA Counseling, P.C. and also as a psychotherapist at King Health Systems, Inc, which is an outpatient clinic in West Baltimore. She provides counseling for adolescents, adults, couples and families from various ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Her research interests are regarding motivational interviewing, child welfare, and childhood and adolescent obesity. She is passionate about destigmatizing mental health disorders and promoting mental health as well as socioemotional and physical health in minority communitie

Hyun-Jin Jun is a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the University of Maryland School of Social Work. Her scholarly interests and activities are broadly focuses on the intersection of Health, behavioral health, and associated addictive/risk behaviors including substance use, gambling, violence, and psychiatric epidemiology in adolescents and adults, with particular attention towards implications for prevention.

She has various experience working with patients with mental disorders and alcohol problems as well as their families. She hopes to contribute to developing effective prevention and intervention strategies to prevent severe engagement of addictive/risk behaviors and to decrease adverse outcomes related to them, which aims to promote health and the mental health as well as to decrease health disparities in vulnerable population.
